Boho Bedroom Mood Board Design

I LOVE making mood boards! I always start a room design with a mood board to see how all elements will fit together and what the overall vibe of the room will be. I was so excited when Carpet One asked me to participate in their Trending 10 Influencer Campaign to showcase their top flooring of 2022 through a mood board design!

I was sent a design kit featuring two carpet samples: Oakmont in the color Marina and Orchard Stones in the color Aloe. Both carpet samples are SO soft and such pretty tones of blue and green. An added plus- they’re pet friendly and waterproof! From there, I added in paint swatches, textiles, and other design elements to make a mood board for a boho bedroom. I absolutely love how it turned out-I might have to use this design in the guest room of the home we are building!

In almost every room design I do, I add in leather and mixed wood tones. The different textures of the leather and wood blend so well together! I even that out with plenty of greenery. I love using faux plants and succulents which are perfect for the boho theme of this bedroom. I added in two different textile options that could either be a textured wallpaper or used for drapes. And lastly, I added in a boho bedroom print that was neutral and would flow with the blue and green vibe of the room.
